In her strategic HR leadership roles, Anne has overseen all aspects of human resources strategy and execution. A passionate champion for establishing strong organizational cultures, her primary focus is on sustaining inclusive, high-performance workplaces, ensuring talent is developing and delivering on organizational growth targets. She is committed to establishing strong succession plans, to ensure organizations thrive, as they grow and scale. Her executive leadership has not only enhanced employee experience and engagement but has contributed to business transformation and performance.
In her most recent role as Chief HR Officer at a privately held financial organization, Anne was instrumental in the growth of the workforce, primarily driving leadership development and succession planning for executive leaders. During her 11 years with this organization, the company doubled in value and the size of the workforce. Growth through mergers and acquisitions required the HR leadership to be closely engaged in due diligence and integration of new entities.
Earlier in her career, Anne served as head of human resources for three business divisions of ING/Voya. During her 13 years at ING/Voya, she led HR teams and partnered with global business leaders, while living in the United States, the Netherlands and Korea. She was instrumental in ING U.S.’s transition from private to public ownership structure with Voya’s successful IPO in 2013.
In addition to her career as an HR executive, Anne is an active leader in her community. She has served and continues to serve on boards for several non-profit agencies and civic organizations. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Anne completed her undergraduate degree at Western Washington University (WWU) where she received a B.A. in Psychology, and she was inducted into the WWU Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Iowa State University.
