She is proficient at building accounting departments and processes from the ground up and leverages her prior experience as a CPA and manufacturing controller to integrate essential, yet simple systems. She has worked as a fractional CFO for a multitude of new businesses that include egg distributors, soybean processors, crop tissue ag-tech startups, professional service firms, equipment remanufacturers, retail companies, and nonprofit entities.

Christy is a versatile leader who has been instrumental in developing high-performing human resources and technology departments. During her career, her corporate and fractional roles have grown to encompass maintaining crucial relationships with financial institutions, audit and legal firms, advisors, and investment companies. Her negotiation skills have secured multi-year, multi-million dollar economic development packages that featured major utility collaborations, state funding, and advantageous capital structures.

Christy’s cumulative experience as a CFO, board member, interim CEO, and C-level leader have strengthened her ability to navigate board governance complexities, manage corporate communications, and design creative solutions that maximize impact and minimize risk.
