Before joining Altus CXO, Maureen served as Senior Managing Partner at McLean & Company, where she led the firm’s Executive Services business through a period of accelerated expansion, nearly tripling the client base and establishing the offering as one of the company’s most strategic growth engines. Prior to that, she joined Gartner to help establish its CHRO advisory practice, which became one of the firm’s fastest-growing executive offerings. Across both advisory organizations, she served as a trusted advisor to dozens of CHROs, helping senior leaders address complex talent, leadership and organizational challenges.

Maureen served as CHRO for Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and Mindpath Health, leading enterprise talent strategy during periods of significant transformation. Her experience spans public, private, nonprofit, and private equity-backed environments, giving her a broad operating perspective and the ability to calibrate quickly to differing business models, governance structures, and growth stages.

She is known for building HR functions that strengthen organizational capability through enhanced executive team effectiveness, culture transformation, and technology optimization. Maureen has advised Boards of Directors on executive compensation, succession planning, and enterprise talent risk, and has guided organizations through multiple CEO and C-suite transitions with stability and clarity.

A defining strength of Maureen’s work is her ability to translate business strategy into focused people priorities that drive results. In addition to her HR leadership, she has held commercial leadership roles with direct P&L and revenue accountability, bringing a practical business lens to every engagement.

Maureen has served on several nonprofit boards and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from North Central College and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. As an ICF- and Sherpa-certified executive coach, she has coached senior leaders through pivotal transitions, helping them expand their leadership impact.
