Mike's background is especially well-suited to today's AI-accelerated environment, where the fastest path to results often comes from pairing deep stakeholder and domain understanding with strong engineering execution. He works end-to-end — from program planning, discovery, and requirements through UI/UX design, architecture, development, testing, and rollout — so teams can go from whiteboard to real-world impact quickly and confidently.

He sharpened his UX and product design expertise during an eight-year engagement as a senior UX designer, delivering major components of a Gen 4 display UI design now installed in hundreds of thousands of tractors, harvesters, and sprayers. His work required capturing the full picture — stakeholder needs, business requirements, user testing feedback, and engineering constraints — and translating it into an intuitive design for the end user.

Mike developed his strategic and operational leadership at Rantizo, a drone technology startup. As CTO, he helped drive a pivot that generated revenue in year one and led to a $7.5M Series A investment that included Bayer. He directed on-shore and off-shore engineering, grew the technology team, and brought multiple products to market despite the challenges of global supply chain shortages — while advancing hardware, electronics, and software innovations in aerial drone spraying.

His ability to deliver at enterprise scale was forged at Cerner (Oracle Health), where he worked from the Kansas City and London offices as a software engineer, product designer, and program manager. As program manager, he oversaw 144 client change requests for a $1.6B deployment spanning 142 hospital groupings, including applications developed for the UK National Health Service with a combined potential user base of 60 million people.
