Troy Harnisch is a proven leader with more than 25 years of experience driving results in finance and operations in diverse industries that include agriculture, custom development manufacturing, food and retail. Troy's background includes a range of organizations, both big and small, from regional and private to global and public, across all five stages of the business lifecycle. His strong financial expertise serves as the foundation for his leadership in business strategy, operations, pricing, planning, automation, mergers and acquisitions, integration, consolidation, divestiture, process improvement, transformation, and change management. Troy’s ability to focus on the big picture while maintaining a keen attention to detail allows him to consistently drive organizational success with exceptional results.
Troy is adept at collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, build consensus, and drive results. His range includes the development and presentation of the global strategy for a $22 billion publicly held agriculture company to executive leadership and the board. He also led the redesign and standardization of pricing processes and model development at a private equity-owned custom development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) in the beauty supply, fragrance, and personal care industry. As Director of Operations, Troy was responsible to drive operational improvement and facilitate efficiencies at the field level. His responsibilities encompassed pricing, logistics, SAP S/4 HANA implementation, automation, supply chain, inventory, B2B, e-commerce, strategy and the implementation of best practices.
Troy’s experience also includes more than 15 years of business leadership in Finance and Accounting at public an privately held companies in the agriculture retail and manufacturing industries. In the positions of Senior Director of Finance, Controller, Assistant Controller and Auditor, he was a hands-on leader of teams responsible for FP&A, Operational Accounting, IT and PMO.
Additional career highlights include the successful integration of Canada’s largest corporate acquisition of the year with the world’s largest ag retailer. Troy’s ability to manage large teams in all areas of the business by collaborating with leaders and coordinating activities proved integral to the success.
Troy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Nebraska Wesleyan University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as snow boarding, mountain biking, fly fishing, and traveling.
